updated firmware.  went to look at my work email (MS Exchange 2007) using webmail.  Guess what.  Still doesnt work.  Know what phone it does work in?  Any Blackberry.  iPhone.  And this is the big firmware update.  Thanks a lot Samsung.  I hope gmail works.  I dont use gmail except on this phone to check my sympatico email.  Not paying $8/month for that wonderful privilege.  Thanks Bell.

Full screen is nice though (for sites that the phone can render) and the speed is better for some sites.  Last.fm doesnt load quickly, and of course no flash.

The big update will be the LCDUI update which should solve this problem for you. Load Opera, and Exchange's OWA should work fine. Load the Gmail mobile application for better Gmail. The list goes on. This was a nice update to the browser, but it doesn't solve the biggest problem the phone has (in my opinion).

I have the same versions. I had to go to the music store to update the music to 2.1.55

And now, I can finally get my email off of my website. Yipeeeeeeee. This is what I originally bought the phone for!

So  ran the update and everything is working great...except for the Web, Movie Listings, Weather, News and Sports buttons don't work from the Web tab. It seems as if Pocket Express was removed from my Phone...anyone have any insight into this? It's a Bell Instinct btw.

Pocket Express working well on my Bell Instinct post-update. Try forcing an update of Pocket Express:

1. Go to the Web tab.
2. Click on "Tap to Add".
3. Click on the little gears icon on the top right.
4. Click "Check for Upgrade".

See an update comes down to help you. If not, maybe just power cycle the phone?

Its been there before it users the camera to seances light so if you tilt the phone up down left right is scrolls the site in that direction. Does not work very well and only works if you have good light...give it a try.

Got the update - improvements in web browsing but still lots of "uncaught exceptions". Have to power cycle after each occurrence in order to force the phone to refresh the data. Still, a step in the right direction. We shall see......

Pocket express hand and returned to the menu 3 times on me, I also experienced "uncaught exceptions" in web browsing but so far no reset.
