Hi,

Tomorrow there will be an article coming out. Basically explaining in short the plight and fight most all of you Bell Instinct users have been in to raise some awareness of the issue and the Bell run-around you are getting from Bell Canada.

The problems you are having are the same problems that Bell has been aware of for the past 7-months.

There will be some tips on who or where to contact.

After its up tomorrow I will post the link. Its up to you to file the complaints that will get Bell to do something for you.

When its out, comments would be appreciated. The more details the better because certain people are interested in helping, if they can, with an awareness campaign that will include gov agencies.

We won't bother with Bell anymore. Bell has dragged its feet now for almost 7-months. Its time to go above them after seeing the BS and run-around I saw many of you get from Bell and their employee's.

I'll post back when its online.

Till then...

Thank you Only Me.  I am sure I speak for most of us here, it will be a great thing to get Bell to smarten up with the garbage they have been pulling, and in turn maybe make the other providers like Telus and such to take appropriate action before it gets like this for them.

Just to let you know...

The story got bumped till Monday. So its not in the coveted Saturday spot. An American lawyer bumped us.

(yes the site is used by both American and Canadian lawyers)

I won't be around Monday to post the story link, so maybe one of you can do it?

It will be on p2pnet.net so you will have to check the main page on Monday for it.

(and in case you are wondering p2pnet is not a file-sharing site, p2pnet stands for People-2-People).

Keep up the good fight.

Also what would be great when the story comes out is the following (some of you have done this):
1. Post a link (or copy/paste) any letter you sent and to whom and what date
2. Post a link (or copy/paste) any reply you received (even if hand written notes). State the date and persons name
3. Post the link (or copy/paste) any follow-up correspondence sent/received. State the date and persons name

Note: We don't need your name. But putting the Bell persons name (preferabley a manager or higher is ok). We need to show there has been correspondence and acknowledgment of.

These are the normal steps before going higher up.

More to come... Maybe. Depending on feed-back and Bell's actions next week.

For the "bleeding hearts". Don't be fooled or be sucked in by the "sorry" excuses. Bell has been very well aware of everything for 7-months. You pay for this.

Regards.

And just more fuel for the fire that is Bell

http://store.handmark.com/phones.php

Go to this site and try to find the Samsung Instinct,Bell,Telus,Sprint.Doesn't make a difference Pocketexpress was never meant for the Instinct.
Dont bother going to see if they have any support for us,I looked found nothing, they mention the instinct once on the site.

Under support, they say if your getting the uncaught exception with the bell mobility Instinct, not to worry it wont hurt your phone. :Smiley

From what I understand from Samsung and the people at bell that I've talked to Samsung supplied the hardware(phone)and the carriers(bell/telus and others) supplied the software and programming.I might have missunderstood but there is no listing of pocketexpress in the instinct specs from Samsung.

Either way someone screwed the pooch and we get to pay for it.

Yes, I think that the carriers supply the software and programming to a point.  Samsung obviously has a prebuild for the carriers and then they choose what they want out of it.

Wow, I'm late, this is getting intense.

But I'm tired and starting to get a hangover from an engagement party I just got back from, hope to see this soon! Monday I assume.

What? He said "Go to this site and try to find the Samsung Instinct"... so I did. And now we know it was specifically made for the instinct (by Handmark, for Sprint).
