I don't see why not. It's a function of the Android OS, so that should be universal regardless of the device. Hope that helps.

It's a capacitive screen, so i'd say yeah, it's glass.

I currently own a Samsung Instinct. I have been okay with it but, I've noticed that gradually it is starting to lag more and more. Also, it does not connect to my work email (Outlook) any longer.  Angry I have been watching the Hero for some time now and I think I may be jumping ship.

I noticed that, too.  Then cleared my messages and emails (saving some important ones with time stamps to computer hard drive).

It then returned to fast speed.  I did pull the battery just for good measure.

the phone looks so purty. Still waiting for the Q and M850 to see how those work out.

I went to best buy and put down the $50 deposit to guarantee the Hero on 10/11 but....I found out something that is driving me nuts...Sprint premier members will be able to purchase the Hero this Friday, the the 9th of October!

I made an appointment with the salesman to be at the store around 11a on Friday to pick up my Hero! If you want one and are a premier member, you may pick one up on Friday, shipments will begin arriving (with the new firmware 1.6) early Wednesday but they ensured me I will not be able to take one home until Friday at the earliest...

The reviews are incredible, this one from yesterday calls it the ...hold your breath...the Iphone killer!  Now where have we heard that before, kinda scary but who cares, I'm going in feet first on this one and as soon as humanly possible!

just a heads up for those on the fence (i was...)...  (also posted in the instinctq forum) - sprint announced the android OS based samsung moment (aka instinctq) today...  release date is supposedly november 1st for $179 as well...  800mhz processor versus the 580mhz in the hero.

And it's finally on Sprint's site as well (Moment)..

Nice thing is that is out 11/1 and I am picking my Hero up Friday, so I have 30 days to decide and about a week to decide if I like the Moment better. Currently, I love the Sense UI and think that is going to be my cell for a while (at least another year) Smiley
